CAY team launches media literacy project “CHUV”

Have you heard that the CAY team has created a new project on media literacy?

The goal of CHUV is to teach young people to counter disinformation using media literacy tools.

Bots, fakes, and advertising – Russian propaganda attacks Ukrainians on all platforms. Therefore, it is important to critically analyze and research materials. This is exactly what CHUV was created for.

In each issue, you will find constructive advice and gain practical knowledge to get on the path to media literacy.

We have already filmed episodes with media experts and journalists, representatives of Detector Media, Militarny, the NGO Life, and the NGO Center for Joint Action.

In the episodes, we talk about how to recognize diplomatic fakes, how Russian propaganda works, and what manipulation techniques exist. We raise the issue of reliable media and the danger of telegrams in Ukraine. And there’s more to come!

Watch our interviews and become media savvy!

We have ambitious plans, so it will be even more informative and interesting!

The videos were created with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine. The views of the participants do not necessarily reflect the official position of the U.S. government.

You can watch the first episodes here.
